Yanush Leon Vishnevskiy is one of the most popular writers in modern Poland. A book about his own life story could be written: he was a sailor of fishing fleet, took doctor’s degree in computer science and chemical science.
The debut novel of the writer “Loneliness On The Net made him popular. It is filled with inexpressible tragedy and genuine feeling, roused a literary world of Poland. The book is about romantic and deep feelings which was conceived through the communication in the Internet. It became a real bestseller and was in TOP sale during next 3 years.
The novel “Loneliness in the toils” was screened in 2006 and the writer played one of the secondary roles by himself. The distribution of the motion picture in Poland was more successful than all Hollywood novelties and was included programme of Moscow International film festival in 2007.
The Polish prose writer published more books for the short time: “Why do we need men?” (Zachem nuzhny muzhchiny), “Bed” (Postel), “Moleculesof emotions”(Molekuly emotsy), “188 days and nigts”…. All these books were popular among readers all over the world. All Yanush Vishnevskiy’s books are translated into Russian, Croatian, Lithuanian, Czech and Vietnamese languages.
Literature is a hobby for Yanush. It reflects writer’s scientific life (his major occupation is a science). “My wife is a science, but I have a love affair with literature. I thought that my wife wouldn’t find out about this”, - Vishnevskiy likes to joke.
